At our school, Prefects are democratically elected by the students. The Prefectural system includes roles such as the Head Boy, Head Girl, Assistant Head Boy, Assistant Head Girl, Junior Head Boy, Junior Head Girl, Sports Captain (both Boy and Girl), Sports Vice Captain (both Boy and Girl), Cultural Secretary, and Student Editor-in-Chief. Additionally, each of the four houses has House Captains (both Boy and Girl) and House Vice Captains (both Boy and Girl).
Being a Prefect offers a valuable opportunity to understand that authority and responsibility are closely linked. Prefects enhance their leadership and teamwork skills while fulfilling their duties.
The Student Council is also a democratically elected body, consisting of four Junior House Prefects and eight Senior House Prefects from classes V to XII. Its main objective is to address the needs and concerns of the entire student body, fostering participation and involvement from students in classes V and above.
